Mälaren Runt – Living Cultural Heritage

Mälaren Runt is an iconic motorcycle tradition that has taken place every year since 1986, attracting thousands of participants. The event is open to all motorcyclists, regardless of motorcycle model, age, or experience level. The ride starts from the parking lot at Pampashuset, the former Swedish Work Environment Authority in Solna, but participants can join along the route, which stretches approximately 300 kilometers around Lake Mälaren — making it possible to take part anywhere along the way.

The purpose of Mälaren Runt is not competition, but rather to create a sense of community where motorcyclists can gather and enjoy the roads together. Along the route, there are traditional stops with food, drinks, and entertainment where participants can meet and take a break.
